Hi, I am Ger
and welcome to my website. I am an interior Architect and Colour Specialist working on residential and commercial projects in Ireland and the U.K. since obtaining my Honours Degree in 2012.
Prior to that I worked across many sectors in retail working in telecommunications, furniture & construction, where my enthusiasm for design developed.
In 2017 having worked as a lead consultant for a nationwide retail brand I set up my own Design Consultancy -Ger Cooney Design. I am passionate about creating concepts that embody my clients needs and preferences and I focus on every aspect to achieve that aim.
Design for me is about creating stylish, timeless schemes that will remain relevant and inspire. In addition to my design work I lecture in Interior Design in Dublin & Cork and have produced several online courses in 3D Design.
I am also a keen researcher of trend forecasting. I was the creative lead on the project which produced the current Contemporary Collection by Colourtrend Paints. I also regularly contribute to design publications in Ireland and the U.K
